Djeco – a reference to the ‘lucky lizard’ – began in France in 1954 with the release of educational games that went on to win Oscars for toy design. The company lay dormant after this until 1989, when the founders son took over. He released a series of boutique toys that were brightly painted and it wasn’t long before they took the world by storm. With a focus on design, functionality and fun, it’s no wonder their popularity is growing.
